Ingredients
1kg strong bread flour
26g sugar
26g salt
60g fresh yeast
68g butter, melted
450ml warm water
Preparation
Mix the flour, salt and sugar in a bowl so that they are combined.
Measure the warm water in a measuring jug. Mix with the butter and yeast using your hands so that the yeast is fully dissolved.
Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour in the water mix, stir with your hands and knead for 5 minutes.
Leave to prove for 2 hours.
Divide the dough into 2 loaves.
Shape the loaves and place on a lined baking tray, spray with water, dust with flour and, using a knife, design your own loaf.
Place a baking tray with boiling water in the bottom of the oven to help create a little steam.
Bake in the oven at 175°C for 45 minutes.
