Rebecca joined the Corner House team in February 2017 as a Chef De Partie in Minster. She has worked hard and developed as a chef and now holds the role of joint Head Chef. At home she is a keen baker and makes mouth-watering confectionary and cakes.
Tony joined The Corner House Minster team as Sous Chef in October 2017 and is now joint Head Chef of Canterbury. Tony has previously worked with Matt at the Bayside Brasserie and has a real flare for creating imaginative and truly tasty vegetarian and vegan dishes.
Claudia completed a law degree with a focus on workplace legislation & started her career as a General Manager at the age of 24. Her passion is wine & food matching & outside work she loves to travel.
Clare brings a wealth of bookkeeping experience to The Corner House and ensures both our staff and suppliers are looked after. Clare ensures every detail of finance world is accurate working with our fantastic accountant Josh at Kent Coast Accounts . Clare is a key player in our team and we are very grateful for what she brings to the party.
Malgorzata, or Maggie as she is known to the team, joined us as Head Housekeeper at Corner House Minster in April 2019. She has now joined us in Canterbury and keeps the rooms looking immaculate and also works alongside the chefs in the kitchen as a kitchen porter.
Crystal joined us in July 2018 as a commis chef. She worked in Minster as well as Canterbury and has now progressed to her role as Sous Chef. Crystal loves to travel and is always jetting off on a foreign adventure when on annual leave.
James aka “Jam” joined the Minster team in November 2018 as Kitchen Porter and has now joined us in Canterbury. He likes gaming, Liverpool and loves karaoke! He always has a great big smile on his face and boosts team morale whenever he is on shift.
Joao, originally from Portugal, joined us after his mother and sister had also been team members (maybe there’s something in the blood). A good all rounder who works in both the kitchen and the rooms with a dry sense of humour and a whiz with IT.
