Dinner with Chetna Makan

The Corner House Canterbury to host dinner with Chetna Makan

The Corner House in Canterbury’s guests will enjoy food from a very different cuisine when award-winning author Chetna Makan cooks dishes from her Indian Feasts: Everyday Meals and Entertaining cookbook on Thursday 18th April.

The Corner House is renowned for its elevated seasonal British dishes and for the event, Chetna and Matt have worked closely together to create a menu inspired by Chetna’s heritage and her love of hosting celebrations around food. The dinner will also feature The Corner House classics that have been given an Indian twist.

Matt says, “I’ve followed Chetna’s progress from baking beautiful cakes on TV to becoming a social media star and respected cookbook author with awe. It was a pleasure and a privilege to work alongside her at last year’s Broadstairs Food Festival when she hosted my demo. Chetna is a delight to work with and I’m so excited to have her cook at The Corner House -  guests are in for an absolute treat.”
