After working in London for Anthony Demetre, Adam Byatt and Gordon Ramsay in June 2013, Matt opened the first Corner House restaurant in Minster to critical acclaim. Matt passionately believes that there are many corners of Kent and beyond that would welcome Corner House restaurants and has exciting plans for the future of the brand. Matt comments "Team Corner House work with me, not for me. Together we will achieve restaurants that are a little different. I am lucky enough to work with a top team".
Emma first joined the Corner House team as Restaurant Manager in our Minster site in November 2014. Emma previously managed the award winning Waterwitch canal side pub in Lancaster which specialised in homecooked, seasonal food and local cask ales. During her time there, it received the accolade of Best Pub in the North West. Emma attended Lancaster University, achieving a BA in Philosophy and wrote her dissertation on Bob Dylan.
Executive Chef of Corner House Restaurants
Lancashire born and bred, Mark joined the Corner House team in November 2014 as Sous Chef in our Minster restaurant. He started his career with Mitchells of Lancaster in their flagship 15 bedroom hotel, The Mill Inn where he became Head Chef at the age of 18. During this time he also gained his level 3 in Professional Cookery at Morecambe college. Mark went on to head up other kitchens including a rosette restaurant and the award winning Waterwitch Pub in Lancaster.

Holly joined Corner House Restaurants as a Chef De Partie in August 2016. Holly grew up in Tunisia so always had a passion for food, especially fresh fish. She learnt her first breadmaking skills in St Peter’s in Sandwich which she has developed throughout her career. The bread she makes everyday at the Corner House is exceptional!
Restaurant Manager, Minster
Glenn joined Corner House Restaurants in September 2017 in our Canterbury site. With a keen interest in hospoitality, he worked hard to become Restaurant Manager of Minster earlier this year. Glenn is “locally sourced” and studied at Chatham House Grammar in Ramsgate then onto Kent University where he studied Anthropology.
Head Chef, Minster
Originally from Serbia, Predrag trained at Thanet College, achieving not only his level three, but was a National Finalist for "Best of British 2012" at Hotelympia. Predrag went on to train at Richard Philips Pearsons Arms in Whitstable, and joined Team Corner House in January 2014.
